How to invoice a project per task and per child project task?

To bill a project per task (main) and include tasks from child (related) projects in Radius CRM, you can follow these general steps:

1. Structuring the project:

Make sure that projects are structured into task hierarchies. This means you can have main projects (parent) and subprojects or related tasks (children).  Each task must be attributable to a specific project.

2. Creation of tasks:

For each project, create individual tasks to represent the work to be done. These tasks can be to-do list items or detailed activities with attributes like estimated time, responsible, etc.

3. Adding child projects:

If a main project contains subprojects or child tasks, make sure you add them correctly in Radius CRM. Each child task must be linked to the parent project to establish hierarchy.

4. Time and cost tracking:

Use the time and cost tracking features in Radius CRM to record the effort and expenses associated with each task. This will allow you to have a detailed view of the resources used for each element of the project.

5. Configuring billing rules:

In Radius CRM, configure specific billing rules to reflect how you want to bill tasks. For example :
- Bill per hour worked on each task.
- Set different rates for different types of tasks.
- Invoice based on estimated or actual costs associated with each task.

6. Generation of invoices:

Once you've tracked effort and costs for each task, use Radius CRM's invoice generation features to create detailed invoices.  Invoices should include details of each billable task, including tasks from child projects, with amounts calculated according to configured rules.

7. Validation and sending of invoices:

Before sending invoices to clients, be sure to validate invoice amounts and task details. Once validated, send invoices to clients Radius CRM or any other financial management system you use.

In summary, to bill a project by task and include tasks from child projects, use the advanced features of Radius CRM to structure, track, invoice and manage all project elements in a detailed and transparent manner.
